Gurdas Maan's Chak Jawana releasing on 27 Aug

After the ‘not so good response’ for two of his films ‘Mini Punjab’ and ‘Sukhmani’, legendary singer and actor is again set to showcase his saintly avatar in the latest film ‘Chak Jawana’. Pardeep Joshi, one of the lead actors in the film, today in conversation with Just Panjabi told that Big Cinema is releasing the movie on large scale. It is a movie based on major issues of Punjab and how youth can contribute in the development of villages and further in the growth of country. Pardeep is excited about the release. After being critically acclaimed for his grey shade role in ‘Sukhmani’, he is hopeful of getting a good response from the audience.

Amrinder Gill's Ek Kuri Punjab Di in theaters on 17th Sept.

Dashing and sincere Punjabi Singer, who is debuting on big screen with his most awaited forthcoming Punjabi film ‘Ik Kuri Punjab Di’ (IKPD) has fastened his seat belt for his big flight. Amrinder confirmed that movie will be releasing on 17th September 2010 worldwide. First teaser is ready for release on various music channels and the plan to release the music is in the final stage. In conversation with Just Panjabi, one of the lead in starcast and renowned comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi also said that 17th September is the final date. He also appreciated Amrinder Gill, for his hard work put into the movie and wished him and whole team for the success of the movie. Another surprise of the movie is that Guggi is first time playing a serious role, while ever roaring Guggu Gill is trying his hand on comedy. A great news for Kimi Verma's fans too that after a long gap she is coming back on silver screen. She is in a special appearance in IKPD.
