Known for his hard hitting punches and tremendeous comic timing comedy circus fame standup comedian and versatile actor Jaswant Singh Rathore enthralled the audience during the promotion of his upcoming film Sikka at Silver Arc Mall, Ludhiana on Saturday night. Rathore was accompanied by Director Jeet Matharru, co-producer and actor Nafisa, actor and anchor Purva Bhatt, actor Jigar Gill.
Gorgeous Purva hosted the show and kept the audience bound till the cast and crew reached the venue. With her gorgeous smile and witty style she kept the huge audience excited throughout the show. Audience welcomed the cast and crew with big loud roar. Magician Ashish surprised the audience with his out of box magic tricks and kept them glued to the event.

After that Jaswant came on microphone and entertained the audience with his well-know style of wit and humor. On the request from audience he mimicked Sunil Shetty, Dara Singh, Shakti Kapoor, Raza Murad, Mehar Mittal and many more. He urged the audience to watch his upcoming film Sikka scheduled to be released on 30th October. He said that he has tried his best to entertain through his act in Sikka. He promised that even ghosts will be rolling on floor laughing with his situational comic act performed in this film.
Director Jeet Matharru said that he and his team are committed to make cinema which makes sense along with entertainment. He has embedded a social message in entertaining narrative of Sikka. He revealed that he has tried to break the stereotype of horror movies having explicit scenes and Sikka can be watched with families. Matharru stressed that Horror is the genre which has exponential scope but still unexplored in Punjabi cinema.
Co-Producer and actor Nafisa told, “we have always tried to touch new horizons under our banner and Jeet Matharru is an ace filmmaker, who has explored the unexplored arena of Horror films this time. The whole cast and crew has put their best effort to make an entertaining film. While the horror clinches the nerves, mere expressions of Jaswant will take the audience to the roller coaster ride of laughter.” She told that a promotional song sung by Jaspinder Narula is already getting a great response. This song portrays the women power in true essence and Narula’s powerful voice takes it to new heights.
While talking to JustPanjabi excited Jaswant told that coming to Ludhiana is always a nostalgic experience for him. Ludhiana being his home town, he gets tremendous response from his fans and his friends who remained his support from his struggling days. They always show up to support him on every occasion. Talking about Sikka he said that this film is special for him because he got a chance to explore his versatility and show off his abilities as an actor if given a right chance.
Actor Jigar Gill said that it he has done many roles in various films but Sikka has given him the biggest role of his career. Post event people gathered around the stars to have a selfie moment.
