Life is fun-filled journey full of mischevious events for the easy-going twosome: Yuvraj (Gippy Grewal) and Gurnoor (Diljit Dosanjh), the students of Patiala University. Things take a full turn for them once they set their eyes upon the charming Noor (Neeru Bajwa). Althought this love-triangle masala movie presents nothing new in terms of the story-line, yet it has been successful in capturing the audience’s attention by the lovable comedy displayed by the actors in this movie. People have been laughing their hearts out at the witty and humourous dialogues delivered by the charming rebel, Gurnoor (Diljit Dosanjh) and the happy-go-lucky, Yuvraj (Gippy Grewal).
People have loved the movie and the stars. Jatinder Singh from Ludhiana (Punjab) says, “I loved the movie but most of all I really enjoyed Diljit’s acting, they way he delivered his dialogues with vigour and enthusiasm. He is so natural that he seems so fit to be a star-actor.”
Sanjay, a businessman from Amritsar (Punjab), “The most lovable thing in the movie, which makes it a success, is its light-hearted comedy. The comedy is so natural and enjoyable that you love every moment of the movie.”
Navpreet Kaur, a housewife from Ludhiana (Punjab) says that she likeitd the acting of all the three lead actors, that is, Diljit, Gippy Grewal and Neeru Bajwa.
Kuldip Singh, who currently stays in California, USA, was in Punjab recently. He says he watched the movie at Jalandhar and absolutely loved it. “I am lucky I am here in Punjab at the time this movie was released. It is a nice, heart-warming feeling to watch a Punjabi movie in Punjab amongst a houseful of Punjabi audience.”
Ishatpreet Grewal, a post-graduate from Ludhiana was all on the side of Jimmy Shergill when she said, “The movie was very nice, especially the humourous acts. But Jimmy Shergill has definitely set a standard of acting in Punjabi movies. Gippy Grewal and Diljit Dosanjh are yet to reach that level.”
Maninder Kaur was beeming while recalling the memorable dialogues from the movie, “Seli te haveli chete ni bande!!!”
Seerat Kaur, a former DPS student, found ‘Jihne Mera Dil Luteya’ highly entertaining.
