The first pollywood movie based on sports, Kabbadi Once Again, has reached to post production stage. Shooting has been completed and packed up in the first week of July.
Written and Directed by National Award winning director and writer Sukhminder Dhanjal, Kabbadi Once Again, is a movie based on Punjab’s maa’n khed (mother game) kabbadi, revival of kabbadi and politics behind the game. Dhanjal, while in conversation with the Just Panjabi, confirmed that shooting has been packed and post production work is going on in Mumbai studios. “It is expected to release in September”, with a glittering smile and hope in the eyes, he adds. Shooting has mostly done on the rural locations around Jalandhar city of Punjab. About the shooting schedule, Dhanjal said, it is a great experience of working with young and enthusiastic team. World famous body builder Varinder Singh Ghuman, Sudeepa Singh and Awaz Punjab di Roshan Prince is in leading roles and all have put their hard work during the shoot. Movie is produced by rural sports promoter H. S. Dhanoa. So audience get ready to say, kabaddi…kabbadi…kabbadi…
