Along with his composer and lyricist brother Sangtar, Waris and Heer has revived the old age culture of live stage shows (Akharas) few years ago. Punjabis living away from Punjab wait for this extravaganza every year. Last year they have toured Vancouver for Punjabi Virsa Tour.
