‘VIRSA’ releases on 7th May

It’s time to tighten the bonds of VIRASAT (Heritage). The bond of sanjha punjab (united punjab), spread all over the world. A Bond of relationship between Amritsar and Lahor expanded up to Sydney. A journey of coming back to roots will kick start on 7th May 2010, with the release of most awaited Punjabi Feature Film Virsa. Aarya Babbar (Son of Raj Babbar) and Mehreen Raheal (Famous Pakistani Actress) are sharing the screen to revive the bonds of heritage, culture and history of ‘sanjha punjab’. Under the banner of One World Entertainment in association with Wize Mindz Entertainment Virsa is produced by Dr. Amanullah Khan (famous pak punjabi poet living in US) along with Jawad Ahmad and Vikram Khakhar and Co-Produced by Amanda Khan, Jyotish Chugani and Aman Mahajan. Aman Mahajan, confirmed the release in May. Music will be releasing in the last week of March.
The film stars Aarya Babbar, Gulshan Grover & Mehreen Raheal who are working in a Punjabi film for the first time, along with Kanwaljit Singh, Naumaan Ijaz, Aman Dhaliwal and Aparna Sharma. Directed by Pankaj Batra, ‘Virsa’ is one of the first Punjabi films which has almost entirely been shot in the breathtaking locales of Australia. Kanwajit’s new look and character will be surprise for the audience.

The melodious soundtracks have been composed by Famous Pakistan music Director Jawad Ahmad and the songs have been sung Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Jawad Ahmad himself and Krishna and Richa Sharma. The Quick Gun Murugan fame cinematographer R.A.Krishnaa has captured the extravagant locations of Australia.
International distributor, music channel B4U, will release the movie in UK, US, Canada, Australia and German. Mobile and Digital partners are Unisys infosolutions Pvt. ltd. and Music will be released worldwide on Saaga in the last week of March.
